An Amherstburg man is facing charges after a woman was stabbed in a parking lot in Leamington.
Provincial police were called to the parking lot on Forest Avenue around 6 p.m. on Monday. It was reported that a woman was stabbed by a man who immediately took off after the assault.
The OPP located a suspect driving a car in the area of County Road 18 and Howard Avenue.
A 44-year-old man was arrested without incident.
The 37-year-old woman was taken to hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
