Vandals strike at Riverfront Festival Plaza

Windsor Police hope the public can help them find the vandals who spray-painted graffiti at the Riverfront Festival Plaza this past weekend.

"Black Lives Matter" and "BLM" were spray-painted in several spots on the stage side of the building. The suspects also left a large amount of spilled paint on the stage.

A crew from the City of Windsor has cleaned it up.

"There are numerous ways and methods for citizens to deliver messages in a positive form in our community without causing damage to property," read a release from Windsor Police Services.

Anyone with information can call police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4000, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or leave a tip online at www.catchcrooks.com.
