Windsor police are looking for assistance after the home of an elderly couple in the West-end was targeted with gunfire for the second time since June.
Police said investigators believe the home has been targeted mistakenly and do not believe the elderly couple is the intended target.
At around 2 a.m. on Sunday, multiple shots were fired at the home on Everts between Algonquin Street and Totten Street. Police found several shell casings and gunshot damage. No injuries were reported.
A similar incident occurred at the home on June 13, 2020. Two suspects were seen running from the area at the time of that incident.
Police are asking residents in the area to review any video surveillance footage to check for any suspicious activity, people, or vehicles around the time to the incident.
