Three charged in assault caught on video

Windsor police have arrested and charged three male youths in relation to an assault captured on video and shared on social media.

While investigating the initial incident, police discovered a second assault involving the same victim. That assault was also recorded and shared.

The three suspects were arrested on September 3 without incident. They are all facing charges of assault in relation to the first video.  Two of the individuals are also facing assault charges in relation to the second incident. One of the suspects is also facing weapon charges.

The accused are not being named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
