(Photo by Adelle Loiselle)A suspicious package found on Howard Avenue in Amherstburg has been recovered and rendered safe.
The Windsor Police Amherstburg detachment closed the stretch of road between County Road 8 and County Road 10 around 8:30 Friday morning as they investigated the suspicious package. The road reopened around 4:30 p.m. after the package was recovered.
The incident remains under investigation. No other details are available at this time.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
