OPP investigate after kitten thrown from car window

The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after a kitten was thrown from a moving vehicle.

A witnessed called the police after seeing the driver toss the kitten from the driver's side door.

It happened around 5 p.m. on September 3.

The vehicle had just left a fast food restaurant on Maidstone Avenue in Essex.

The complainant retrieved the kitten and took it to a veterinarian, but it died.

A second kitten found in the same area was already dead.

The OPP has released a photo of the vehicle in hopes someone will identify it and the driver.
