As cases of COVID-19 rise across the region, the Town of LaSalle has decided to cancel it's Santa Drive-By event.
It was set to go this Saturday.
The town said it consulted with emergency services and internal staff, who recommended the cancellation.
Administrators also took advice from the Windsor Essex County Health Unit, which is urging residents to stay home as much as possible and limit their social contacts.

The announcement follows a decision to close LaSalle Civic Centre to the public.
