Police find car believed to be connected to LaSalle shooting

The LaSalle Police Service will not say where or when they found it, but investigators are going through a vehicle they believe is connected to a shooting on Eastbourne Avenue.

On December 7, a man with a gun confronted the victim on his doorstep in what police think was a targeted attack.

The victim should make a full recovery, but at the time, refused to cooperate with the investigation.

Five days later, police appealed to the public for information about a black, mid-sized car with a loud exhaust and a burnt-out passenger-side headlight.

"Investigators are not revealing any further information at this time as to the owner of the vehicle, or where, and how it was located," said a release.

Meanwhile, investigators are still looking for the suspect or suspects.

Anyone with information can call the LaSalle Police Service at 519-969-5210, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or leave a tip online at www.catchcrooks.com.
