Windsor police are looking for a driver who left the scene of a single-vehicle collision on Saturday.
Around 7:45 p.m., police were called to Wyandotte Street East near Gladstone Avenue after a car struck a pole and damaged a business.
The driver left the scene before police arrived. Officers found a grey Toyota Corolla with a Quebec license plate that had extensive damage.
Witnesses told police the driver, a man wearing baggy grey sweatpants, left the scene on foot. Police do not know if the man was hurt during the collision. No other injuries were reported.
Police are asking anyone in the area with surveillance cameras to review their footage for possible evidence.
Investigators believe the car may have been in the area of Riverside Drive East and George Avenue before the collision. Investigators are also asking anyone in that area to review surveillance footage for possible evidence.
