Windsor reopens parking offices Monday

Do you need to pay off that parking ticket? You can once again do it in person.

The city of Windsor will reopen its public works administration office to the public on Monday. Payment for parking tickets, permits, monthly parking payments, and others will be available.

With the region still in the red-control zone because of the COVID-19 pandemic, residents are still encouraged to continue with online transactions, either through the city's website or via secure drop box. Ticket screening and hearing request forms will still be available outside the main entrance, with residents asked to use this method of retrieving and returning these forms.

For those who visit in-person, strict social-distancing guidelines will be in place and visitors must wear a face covering. Enhanced cleaning and screening procedures will be in place.

The public works building is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except on holidays, and is located at 1266 McDougall Street. Anyone with questions should visit the city's website or call (519) 255-6298. Emails can also be sent and will be responded to within two business days.
