Unionized workers at Avancez now have a tentative contract.
Unifor Local 444 announced the news on its Facebook page Monday, just two days after workers at ZF-TRW ratified their new three-year deal by a margin of 78 per cent.
Union and management at Avancez reached the deal after just four days of bargaining.
An online ratification vote for the second parts plant targeted in this round of negotiations is on Saturday, March 6 at 9 a.m.
Unifor Local 444 also announced its next target in contract talks, Dakkota.
Like Avancez, the union will use the agreement it reached with ZF-TRW as a template for negotiations.
The three plants and HBPO, which will be the final target, supply the Windsor Assembly Plant.
