Nails found in Kingsville Park

Essex County OPP is cautioning parents and pet owners after strands of roofing nails were found in a park in Kingsville.

The strands were found on Sunday afternoon by the merry-go-around in York Park off of Conservation Drive.

Officers went to the park and picked up the strands in question. They also searched the park for more nails and none were found.

The police are advising people to be on alert when attending public parks.
