Cocaine, meth, and fentanyl seized in Windsor probe

Windsor police have seized various illicit drugs following a month-long investigation.

The Drugs and Guns (DIGS) Unit began a probe in February into the alleged sale of illegal drugs within the city. An adult male was soon identified as a suspect.

Search warrants were obtained for two different residences, according to Constable Darius Goze. Minutes before the searches were started on Wednesday, the male suspect was found and taken into custody with illicit drugs found on him.

Officers searched a home on Turner Road near Sydney Avenue but found nothing of value. A home on Capitol Street near Remington Avenue was also searched, and an unspecified amount of  illegal drugs were seized. A woman was found at the second home.

Michael Allard, 37, of Windsor is charged with possession of cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, brown fentanyl, and purple fentanyl, all for trafficking.

The unidentified 30-year-old female suspect has been issued a summons with a future court date. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine and brown fentanyl for trafficking.

These charges have not been proven in court.
