The town of Tecumseh is the latest in Windsor-Essex to offer recreational opportunities on a revamped website.
Tecumseh's parks and recreation department unveiled TecumsehRec this week, an updated online registration system for the town's recreational offerings. The website features an updated look and will allow users the ability to sign up for memberships, register and pay for activities, reserve park space, and view availability for the town's facilities.
Parks and recreation director Paul Anthony said the site is ready just in time for the arrival of milder weather.
"The new registration system provides convenience and enhanced customer service," said Anthony in a media release. "With the upcoming summer season approaching, it is the perfect time for customers to easily start planning their recreational events and activities."
New and existing users of the town's online system are encouraged to visit the new site to register for upcoming spring and summer programs. Existing users will automatically be transferred to the new system and will be asked to create a new password.
Programs and membership opportunities will be posted on the recreational site, which can also be accessed via the town's official site. Program availability is subject to any guidelines imposed for the control of COVID-19.
