Windsor police officers have arrested a suspect in connection to an arson investigation last month.
On March 7, police began investigating a blaze at a home on Bridge Avenue and determined it had been intentionally set.
A suspect was identified and was arrested on Thursday while driving in the City of Windsor.
Mario Jr Veltri, 41, has been charged with arson and breaking and entering.
Investigators continue to look for a vehicle in relation to the crime. They are seeking any information that may lead to the recovery of a brown/beige coloured 2001 Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck. It may have the Ontario license plate number of BC85810 and have the tailgate missing.
