Allegedly impaired driver faces charges after crash

A 33-year-old Windsor man faces impaired driving charges after a crash in Lakeshore on Sunday.

Around 4:30 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police, firefighters from Lakeshore, and paramedics responded to the crash on Old Tecumseh Road.

A vehicle had struck a concrete form on the bridge crossing Pike Creek.

The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital, but the vehicle was badly damaged.

Now he has a court date with the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor.
