Windsor woman charged in Lakeshore collision

A 22-year-old woman is facing charges after a crash Tuesday in Belle River.

It happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Broadway Street near Stuart Lane. Ontario Provincial Police say two vehicles were involved.

There were no injuries reported, but one of the drivers was suspected of being impaired.

The 22-year-old woman was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol or drug, and driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of over 80 mg. These charges have not been proven in court.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
