Ontario Provincial Police are looking for two people with a possible connection to a vehicle and gasoline theft this week in Lakeshore.
The Lakeshore detachment had received a report shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday about a pickup truck stolen from Oriole Park Drive in Woodslee. Just before 4 a.m. Tuesday, a theft was reported at a gas station in Comber. Police were told that $10.60 worth of gas was pumped into the stolen vehicle, and the driver took off without paying.
The pickup truck was later found abandoned in Windsor.
Police have released surveillance-camera images of two persons of interest. Investigators believe that one man, seen wearing black, with black and grey baseball gloves and a black Air Jordan baseball cap; was driving the stolen pickup.
According to Constable Steven Duguay, a second person of interest arrived at the gas station at the same time in a separate black vehicle. That man is described as bald, wearing a black shirt and shorts.
