The Windsor Police Service has released a photo of the vehicle they believe was involved in the hit and run of a cyclist last weekend.
The man was riding his bike on Tecumseh Road West near South Pacific Street between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday. He was struck and left in the road until a police officer on patrolcame across the scene and called for assistance.
The photo of the vehicle was obtained through surveillance video. It is described as a dark coloured hatchback crossover. At the time of the incident, the vehicle was travelling southbound on Tecumseh Road West. Police say the vehicle likely has some damage as a result of the collision.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect vehicle is urged to contact police.
Investigators are still looking for further surveillance video from around the time of the crash.
