The Windsor Police Service is investigating after two young people were assaulted at a park in Forest Glade.
According to police, the youth were in the park on Friday, September 10 around 9:45 p.m. when 10 to 12 masked people came to the park. The youth were sprayed with a noxious substance, believed to be pepper spray. They also reported one of the suspects looked like they had a taser-like weapon, and another suspect may have had a gun.
Both victims were able to leave the area and call for help. They were not seriously injured.
Police say they believe this to be a targeted incident.
Three of the suspects are believed to have fled the area eastbound behind the Forest Glade Community Centre. Two of the suspects fled on foot, the third suspect on a bicycle. No further descriptions are available at this time.
The Major Crime Unit is asking anyone in the area with video surveillance to check their footage for possible evidence.
