If you have a child that attends a public elementary school, the next progress report will be delayed by a week this year.
The Greater Essex County District School Board has confirmed instead of November 8, those reports will go home on November 15.
"This move allows teachers to have more time with their students to provide a more fulsome and accurate assessment," wrote Public Relations Officer Scott Scantlebury in an email to Windsor News Today.
Reorganization Day, the date the school board finalizes who will be in each class and who the teacher will be, was also delayed a week this year.
Parent-teacher interviews will be held on November 18, instead of November 11.
