Police release updated photos of robbery suspect

Windsor police have obtained new photos of a female suspect believed to have been involved in the robbery of a convenience store last month.

On October 15 at around 9 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Ouellette Avenue near Ellis Street West.

During the altercation, the woman is said to have entered the business, brandished a knife and demanded money from the store clerk. The suspect then took off with some cash just as police arrived. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident.

Investigators have since released updated photos of the female suspect and are hopeful the public can assist with identifying her.

The woman is described as White, around 30-years-old, between 5'7" or 5'8" and approximately 160 lbs. She was wearing a dark grey headband, a white surgical mask and a white, long-sleeve shirt underneath a grey t-shirt with dark blue jeans, white Adidas running shoes and a brown purse.

Anyone with information about the woman's identity is asked to call Windsor police at 519-255-6700, extension: 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS (8477).
