Windsor police seek retail robbery suspect

Police are looking for tips in a store robbery earlier this month in south Windsor.

It happened around 10 a.m. on Sunday, December 4. Windsor police responded to a call about a robbery at the store on Dougall Avenue near Cabana Road West.

The man entered the store and stole an unspecified amount of merchandise. As he was leaving, he pulled out a knife and threatened employees. The suspect then ran northbound on Dougall Avenue.

No one was injured in the incident, according to Constable Darius Goze.

An image of the suspect was taken from the store's security camera system, and police are asking the public to take a look.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black coat, black pants, dark coloured running shoes, dark coloured baseball hat and a surgical mask.

The Major Crime Unit has also asked any residents or business owners in the area who may have security camera footage to share to give them a call.
