HDGH mass vaccination clinic taking walk-ins

The mass vaccination clinic at the Dr. Y Emara Centre for Healthy Aging and Mobility at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare is now accepting walk-ins.

The clinic, located at 1453 Prince Road in the City of Windsor, is open from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; and from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday. The site offers first, second, and third doses.

“We are very pleased that over 1200 citizens were able to visit our Vaccination Clinic to date. Vaccines continue to be our best line of defence by keeping our community safe and healthy with regards to our ongoing COVID and Omicron efforts,” said President and CEO Bill Marra.

Appointments can still be made at any of the community mass vaccination sites at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, Devonshire Mall or Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre. Appointments are booked through WEVax.ca or by calling 226-773-2200.

To date, just over 80 per cent of eligible residents aged five and older have been fully vaccinated with two shots of the vaccine. Around 49 per cent of residents aged 18 and older have gotten a booster dose.
