OPP seize $1.2M of illegal cannabis in Leamington

The Ontario Provincial Police seized about $1.2 million worth of illegal marijuana from an address in Leamington.

The Community Street Crime Unit and the provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team searched the address on Talbot Road East on Saturday.

Officers seized over 2,400 illicit cannabis plants, over 16,000 grams of illicit packaged cannabis, and cannabis processing equipment.

The investigation is ongoing. Police have not released details on any charges resulting from the seizure.
