HDGH COVID-19 vaccination clinic cuts hours of operation

Starting on Monday, the COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic will no longer be open on Tuesdays and Fridays.

It will still be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The clinic will not be open on Family Day, February 21.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit hinted last week it would reduce hours of operation at some of its mass clinics if trends continue with fewer people coming out for a shot.

The clinic at 1453 Prince Road offers first, second, and booster shots for walk-ins and those with an appointment.

The vaccine is also available at the mass vaccination clinic at Devonshire Mall, Grovedale House Community Hall in Kingsville, at participating pharmacies and healthcare providers. The health unit continues to plan pop-up clinics across the region.

You can book an appointment online at WEVax.ca or by calling 226-773-2200.
