Environment Canada is forecasting wild fluctuations in temperature over the next few days.
Temperatures are expected to rise gradually with a high of 8 C in the forecast of Saturday and a high of 19 C for Sunday. With the mild temperatures, rain and thunderstorms are also possible.
"It will be very mild, the mildest it's been in a while on Sunday but don't expect that to last because right after that a cold front will come and things will come crashing down and temperatures will be back to seasonal," said Meteorologist Gerald Cheng.
Temperatures could be flirting with the record high on Sunday. The highest recorded temperature in Windsor for March 6 is 19 C. The record was hit in 2009.
"After this brief warm-up we will go back to seasonable temperatures for the majority of next week and we will stay around that zone pretty much until the end of winter," said Cheng.
