Police look for suspect in shooting

Windsor police are looking for a suspect involved in a shooting on the city's west side earlier this week.

It happened on March 8 around 1 a.m. on Prince Road. No injuries were reported but police found several spend shell casings in the area.

Investigators are now looking to identify a woman seen on video footage on the night in question.

The suspect was wearing a short winter coat with a halter top underneath and a cross-body purse. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous as the firearm is still outstanding.

Police believe the suspect left in a vehicle speeding down Prince Road and continued as far as Tecumseh Road West and Matchette Road.

Residents in the surrounding areas where Prince Road intersects with Tecumseh Road West and Matchette Road with surveillance cameras is asked to check their footage for possible evidence.
