The Windsor Police Service is looking for information surrounding a shooting last week in west Windsor.
Around 9:50 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, patrol officers were called to a shooting on Wyandotte Street West near Rankin Avenue.
Officers on the scene found several shell casings in the area and damage to a door on a home. There were no reports of any injuries.
Police believe this was a targeted incident.
They have identified two suspects in the shooting. The first suspect is described as a 6' tall Black man wearing a blue hooded sweater. The second suspect is described as a 5' tall man wearing a brown hooded sweater.
The suspects left the scene in an older model blue four-door Ford Escape with unknown license plates.
The suspect vehicle was captured on surveillance video travelling westbound on Wyandotte Street West and turning southbound on Rankin Avenue. Anyone with surveillance cameras in the area is asked to check their video for possible evidence, including further footage of the vehicle.
