Booking an appointment to get an x-ray just got a lot easier at Erie Shores Healthcare.
The hospital in Leamington has launched a new online scheduling tool so patients can book same-day appointments for an x-ray from Monday to Saturday.
All the patient needs is a note from their doctor or nurse practitioner.
The hospital used the tool to book appointments at its COVID-19 Clinical Assessment Centre but added x-ray appointments this past winter. Over the coming months, it plans to add appointment times for booking other diagnostic tests.
The tool is part of an ongoing strategy at the hospital to improve the patient care experience in Essex County as it shifts to pandemic recovery.
