LaSalle man crowned a $100K winner

A five-dollar scratch-off ticket led to a $100,000 payday for a LaSalle father and grandfather.

Edward Ketterer picked up an Instant Kings ticket and revealed that he had won the game's grand prize. Ketterer picked up his $100,000 cheque this week at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) Prize Centre in Toronto.

"I told my wife. It was pure joy, and hard to believe," said Ketterer.

Ketterer plans to use the winnings to travel, and help out his children.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Mac's Convenience Store on Front Road.
