The Windsor Police Service is investigating two separate shootings that happened within hours of each other.
Around 10:45 p.m. Thursday police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Pillette Road. Police found multiple shell casings in the area but there were no reports of any injuries.
Police say a dark coloured sedan was seen speeding away from the area, possibly westbound on Tecumseh Road East or southbound on Arthur Road.
Anyone in the area with surveillance cameras is asked to check their footage for possible evidence.
The second incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday in the area of McKay Avenue and University Avenue West.
Officers found several shell casings on McKay Avenue, in the area of University Avenue at Camera Avenue, and in the alley between McKay Avenue and Cameron Avenue.
A white SUV-type vehicle was seen exiting the alley and heading towards University West.
Police report two Black men, wearing dark clothing, were seen entering another vehicle, possibly a white two-door Acura. This vehicle also left westbound down University Avenue.
No injuries were reported in this shooting however a car and home nearby were damaged with bullets.
Anyone in this area is also asked to check surveillance camera footage for any possible evidence.
