Lakeshore seeks input on Stoney Point Park

Lakeshore wants to know what residents and community organizations want in Stoney Point Park.

The municipality has launched a multi-phase visioning exercise, and an online survey is the first step.

"We know how important this park is to the residents of Stoney Point," said Mayor Tom Bain. "We want to understand how it's used today, what works, and what improvements are needed to make sure the park reflects the desires of the community, now and into the future."

The survey includes several open-ended questions about how residents currently use the park. It also asks them what they'd like to see the town add and about a park "theme."

The responses and other community feedback will be shared at an upcoming visioning session and used in the design plan.
