Police investigating woman's death

Windsor police are looking for information after a woman was found dead outside an apartment building near Ouellette Avenue and Shepherd Street.

Around 3 a.m. Thursday,  police got a call about a woman laying on the ground in the area.

The Major Crime Unit is investigating and will be canvassing the area throughout the day. Officers are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the death.

Police are asking anyone in the area with surveillance equipment to check their footage for possible evidence. Investigators are also looking for possible witnesses.
