Fresh off a European tour to promote his new album "Detroit Stories," Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Alice Cooper is coming to Caesars Windsor in September.
Cooper has been shocking audiences both as a solo artist and with his band for over half a century, and the Associated Press said he shows no signs of slowing down.
It called the latest album "a masterpiece of classic rock, soul, and R&B in homage to the city that produced him."
Variety has similar high praise, calling "Detroit Stories" "a delicious tip o the hat to 70s classics such as Killer and School's Out without sounding like a throwback."
The show typically includes the props that helped make his stage show famous, the guillotine and lots of fake blood.
"That spirit of rock & roll abandon still exists in Cooper's music half a century later, and his inherent showmanship is why people still fill theatres," enthused Rolling Stone.
The show at the Colosseum is on September 11 at 8 p.m.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 15. They're available online at caesarswindsor.com or ticketmaster.ca. The Box Office is open Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on show days from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
