The Windsor Police Service is looking for the driver of a car involved in a rollover accident Friday morning.
Around 3 a.m., officers were called to Byng Road for reports of a rollover. Officers arrived and located a white Toyota Rav 4 on its roof. The driver of the vehicle took off before the police arrived. A parked vehicle was also damaged in the collision.
Investigators believe the Toyota, with license plate CHMT 977, traveled northbound on Byng Road before striking a parked vehicle and flipping over. It is possible there were also other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the incident that also fled the area.
Anyone in the area with surveillance cameras is asked to review their footage for possible evidence of the vehicle or suspicious persons in the area around the time of the incident.
