UPDATE: Pedestrian struck in West Windsor

A section of Wyandotte Street West in Windsor has reopened in both directions after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning.

It happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. between Janette Avenue and Caron Avenue.

Few details were available, but police said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

That stretch of Wyandotte Street West was closed for almost eight hours while police cleaned up the scene and investigated the crash. It reopened just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
