The Ontario Provincial Police arrested three drivers within 12 hours of each other, all for impaired driving over the weekend.
The first incident was around 6:30 p.m. on Friday after a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 401 westbound off-ramp at Provincial Road in Tecumseh.
When one of the drivers appeared drunk, the officer conducted a roadside test.
A 47-year-old Lakeshore man faces two charges, careless driving and operating a motor vehicle while impaired.
Three hours later, police got a complaint about a driver in the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 in Tecumseh.
Once a vehicle was pulled over, the officer conducted a roadside test which showed the driver was impaired. A 29-year-old Tilbury man was arrested.
A 33-year-old Leamington man was charged just before 5 a.m. on Saturday after a traffic complaint on Talbot Street East in Leamington.
Once again, officers found the vehicle, pulled it over, spoke with the driver, and determined he had been drinking.
All three have an upcoming date in the Ontario Court of Justice, have had their license suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for a week.
