Windsor police investigate Saturday night arson

Windsor police are seeking the public's help as they look into a possible arson over the weekend.

Patrol officers were called at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday to a business on Rhodes Drive off Pillette Avenue, on a report of a fire involving commercial vehicles. Fire crews were on the scene fighting the blaze when police arrived.

Constable Bianca Jackson said the investigation uncovered evidence that the fire was set on purpose, and the Windsor police arson unit was immediately called.

The Forensic Identification Unit was also on hand to process the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Any residents or business owners in the area are asked to check any security or doorbell camera footage between 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday. If you see anything unusual, give Windsor police a call at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4330, or Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
