Police look to identify body

The Windsor Police Service is investigating after a "severely decomposed" body was found Wednesday night.

Constable Bianca Jackson said officers were called to Dougall Avenue near Jackson Street for a report of a deceased person around 10:30 p.m.

When the body was discovered, officers secured the area and conducted a grid search of the site. Members of the Forensic Identification Unit were called to process the scene.

The person has not been identified.

Police are asking anyone in the area with residential video surveillance to review their footage for any evidence pertaining to this case.
