Police looking for suspects in two Leamington investigations

The Ontario Provincial Police in Leamington is looking for suspects in two separate incidents.

A business on Erie Street South near Countess Street was broken into overnight Saturday. Police were notified of the incident on Sunday morning. Investigators are looking for a suspect or suspects who broke through the front door of the business.

Officers are also looking for a suspect who robbed a business early Monday morning.

Officers were called to a business near the intersection of Seacliff Drive West and Erie Street South around 4:20 a.m. They learned a man entered the business, brandished a knife, and demanded money. The man was confronted and took off on foot. The employee was not physically injured in the confrontation.

The suspect is described as a white man around 5'7" to 5'8" tall with a thin build. He was wearing a grey backpack, black hoodie, grey jeans, and black shoes at the time of the incident.

The OPP is asking anyone in the area with video surveillance systems to check their footage for possible evidence.
