Upgrades coming to Little River Boulevard trails

East Windsor residents who frequent the parkland along Little River Boulevard will see some work being done.

Starting this week, the City of Windsor will upgrade the trails along Little River Boulevard from Banwell Road to Clover Avenue. Improvements will also be completed and within Little River Corridor Park at the intersection of Florence Avenue and Beverly Glen Street.

An 840-metre portion of the existing trail will be milled and re-paved. There will also be two brand-new asphalt trails being laid from Little River Boulevard to Mancroft Street.

Also, 270 metres of existing granular pathway will be paved at the Florence and Beverly Glen intersection.

Walkers, joggers, bicyclists, and other users of the Little River Boulevard trail should keep in mind that the trail will be closed for six weeks while the milling and re-paving is completed.

The trail at Little River Corridor Park will be closed for about a week.
