City begins adjustments at Jackson Park for Bright Lights

We're experiencing fall in Windsor, but preparations have already begun for a holiday tradition.

City crews have begun preparing Jackson Park for the upcoming version of Bright Lights Windsor, as visitors to the park will soon see some work being done before the light displays are installed.

Fencing is starting to go up at the north end of the park, along Tecumseh Road East. The service road north of the sunken garden will also be closed. Visitors, though, will be able to use all other paths and park sections.

The City plans to install the displays in stages this year to minimize disruption to park visitors. The next phase of the installation is scheduled to begin in early November.

Bright Lights Windsor will take place from December 2 to January 8, 2023.
