The City of Windsor is getting another cheque for hosting Caesars Windsor, this time for the second quarter of this year.
The payment is for more than $2.3-million.
The city receives quarterly payments from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to spend on local infrastructure projects, community programs, and municipal services.
So far this year, it has received over $5.2-million and $78.2-million since the casino first opened in 1994.
The payments are based on a formula applied across all gaming sites in Ontario, using a graduated scale of gaming revenue.
"These payments help to improve the quality of life and make Ontario a vibrant and exciting place to live, work and play," said Minister of Finance Peter Bethanfalvy.
