Windsor police are looking for a suspect who allegedly groped a woman near the University of Windsor campus.
Around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the campus after a woman reported being assaulted. The victim told police that she was walking in the area of Wyandotte Street West near Randolph Avenue when she was grabbed from behind and touched inappropriately a half hour earlier.
Constable Bianca Jackson said the woman then screamed and the suspect ran east on Wyandotte West.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 19-years-old. At the time of the incident, he wore a grey hoodie and black track pants with a white vertical stripe.
Windsor police and the U of W campus police are working jointly on this investigation.
