20th Face to Face campaign raises big funds

The 20th annual Face to Face Campaign raised $107,530 for Hospice of Windsor and Essex County during a month and a half campaign.

“On behalf of myself and my family, we are once again humbled by the generous support of our community. The initial ask of 10 friends each giving $10 has blossomed into 20 years of support for our Hospice, with all donations staying right here, in Windsor and Essex County” said John Fairley, Campaign Founder. “Thank you one and all for your kindness.”

This year's campaign will support the new G.E.N.I.E Transportation Program. The program offers patients rides to impactful places or events with family and friends.

“Every year our team of dedicated canvassers, sponsors, and champions come together to ensure this campaign is a success. We are so grateful for the kindness shown to our Hospice, and the support for our patients and families,” said Nancy Brockenshire, executive director of the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.

The Hospice Face to Face Campaign runs annually from August 15th to September 30th, and in 20 years has raised over 1.5 million dollars for Hospice.
