Trespassing call leads to drug charges

Two people are facing drug charges after police were called to investigate an illegally parked trailer.

Around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to Bruce Avenue for a complaint of a leisure trailer illegally parked on private property. Officers discovered the trailer was reported stolen and was illegally using electricity from a home.

Two suspects were found inside the trailer and arrested.  Upon searching the trailer, officers seized four replica handguns, and a large quantity of drugs including suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine.

A 34-year-old from Windsor is charged with possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance for trafficking.

A 25-year-old woman is charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance for trafficking, and breaching a release order.

The charges have not been proven in court.
