Grow On campaign has record breaking year

This year's Grow On Windsor campaign raised far more than expected.

At the fundraiser launch, Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation Houida Kassem said she would like to raise at least as much as they did in 2021, $255,000.

This year's campaign raised $425,000 more than any other year since the campaign was launched in 2015.

“Our theme this year was ‘We Grow On Together’, and the community definitely did come together in a powerful way to support men living with cancer. Your generosity makes a tremendous and immediate impact on our patients' lives,” said Kassem.

The money will be used to purchase equipment and services at the Windsor Cancer Centre, including brachytherapy treatment, advanced radiation treatment, and enhancements to seven cancer outpatient rooms.
