ENWIN donates to Meals on Wheels

The VON Meals on Wheels program can purchase 700 more meals for seniors with a donation from ENWIN Utilities.

The company's Community Support program donated $5,000 to help ensure isolated seniors who are unable to shop or cook for themselves receive a hot meal this holiday season.

“ENWIN’s continued support of VON’s Meals on Wheels Program is a true testament to the power of community support,” says Christine Brush, Meals on Wheels Program Coordinator. “VON believes that everyone has the right to care and service regardless of their circumstances. The generosity of ENWIN allows VON to continue serving our community’s most vulnerable.”

A group of employee volunteers voted to support the Meals on Wheels initiative.

“Every meal counts, and no one should go hungry,” added Costin Beliciu, Manager of Corporate Communications & Public Relations at ENWIN. “The team at ENWIN and our Community Support Committee are proud to support programs like Meals on Wheels, and to help those who need it most in our community.”

Meals on Wheels delivers meals five days a week.
