Lakeshore is working on a municipal fire department master plan, and it wants to know what its residents think.
The ten-year plan will seek out how the fire department can improve service and how those services are provided.
The municipality hopes residents will share their feedback in an online survey.
The questions in the survey gauge what residents think about its educational programs and core services.
"Lakeshore Fire has an incredibly dedicated team of volunteer firefighters and a long history of protecting our communities, responding to emergencies, and educating residents on the importance of fire safety and emergency preparedness," said Chief Administrative Officer Truper McBride. "The master planning process will help create a roadmap for how the department will evolve and adapt over the next decade."
Those who need help filling out the survey can call the Public Service Unit at 519-728-2700 ext. 0 during regular business hours.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 24, at 4:30 p.m.
